Research
The research activities are focused in the following sub-areas of polymer science:
-
Functional block copolymer nanocarriers for controlled delivery of hydrophobic bioactive substances and biomolecules;
-
Super-macroporous polymer cryogels from natural, thermo- and pH-sensitive polymers for topical anti-cancer therapy and tissue engineering;
-
Conjugated polymers and active polymer films for organic solar cells;
-
Polymer-inorganic hybrid nanoparticles and nanocomposites.
